Gideon was seized by Panhandle Rescue cruelty investigators in May 2007 in Escambia County. He was living in a chicken coop without adequate food or water.
He was covered in lice and suffered wounds from the chickens pecking at him. It took a long time for Gideon to finally allow some people to touch him. His owner was tried and prosecuted for animal cruelty.
Our Mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and provide adoption services for abused, neglected and abandoned equines.
